Sue Moorcroft takes us back to the village of Middledip Where everyone is excited about the transformation of The Angle Pub into the new Angle Community Café.The whole village has banded together to raise funds for the project after the pub had been saved by local Gabe Piercy.


Local interior decorator Alexia Kennedy is the girl to take on the job. Along with the help of many of the villagers including Ben Hardaker Gabe's mysterious nephew, work begins on stripping out the pub which has many features that Alexia intends on re using. This will be the big opportunity to show off her talents and get the job of her dreams.
 But her dreams come crashing down when all the money is stolen along with all of the antique fixtures and fittings from the pub including half of the roof!

With the villagers in uproar over how this could of happened and pointing the finger of suspicion in all directions. Alexia is ready to admit defeat.Help come in the unlikely form of Ben Hardacker and is rescue Owl Barney. Working together Alexia and Ben form a plan to get the café finished in time for the grand opening on Christmas Eve.

 With lost of unexpected twists and turns along the way and some Christmas magic Alexia manages to mend Ben's heart and the heart of the community.

An absolutely beautiful Christmas romance. I loved it from beginning to end.I highly recommend The Little Village Christmas.

    1. Susan, how good to hear from you! I loved your book review, it sounds like a wonderful story. We have not finished ol' Aaargh yet, but I definitely still do have your stone and am anxiously awaiting the day we will mortar it into the structure making is a genuine English castle.
